HISTORICAL, SOCIAL, AND CULTURAL CRITERIA FOR COMPARATIVE DESCRIPTION OF YOUTH VOCABULARY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF GERMAN AND UKRAINIAN LANGUAGES)

چکیده

The article is devoted to the comparative description of youth vocabulary on example German and Ukrainian languages. At first stage study, key features have been singled out. It has established that this linguistic phenomenon a specific lexical subsystem national language, which most actively used by socio-age group “youth”. Compared standard it characterized informality, emotional connotation, expressiveness. A high gedree sensibivity external influences typical for young people. That affects choice means communication. Nominative processes in given language subcode are determined search new words collocations indicate social status roles their users, as well intra-group relations hierarchy. second criteria developed: interrelationship with other subsystems, use self-identification, amount lexical-semantic groups, regional heterogeneity, conspiracy function, borrowing from foreign languages, share rude words, dependence mass-media impact. As result, common distinctive subcodes found Both subsystems verbalize people’s worldview feelings, reflecting try demonstrate protest, heterogeneity. important groups contain wide synonyms satisfying above-mentioned needs. Historical, social, cultural factors determine some differences between two studied subcodes, mainly heterogeneity words. same time, both constantly enriched taken popular sources. growing role American subcultures pointed out well.
